To Stay Or Not To Stay?
Dear All,
First of all, please accept my heartiest Greetings on the holy month of Ramadan.
Secondly, I'm looking for opinions, an american friend of mine was wondering. The war in Iraq is always a big topic in the news there especially with the election next year. And he wants to know how do Kuwaitis feel about the war? Do we want the US to stay or leave? Are we afraid of what could happen to Kuwait if the US leaves? Are we afraid the violence could spill over to Kuwait?
In my opinion and from what I am aware of at this point there are mixed feelings regarding this issue from many people, most people think that the americans should just leave, as they arent doing any good, and they've been there for ages, the whole point of being there is to make a difference for the better and they arent, plus they are losing alot of soldiers over a cause that would not be resolved in a LONG while.
Your thoughts on this anyone?

I personally think Bush should order his troops back home - they are not helping at all - problem is with the White House's policies & Bush's a-holness ... THEY SHOULD GO then if Iraqis kill each other.. it;s their problem :)
I think they should leave most definitaly, its like there just there.... no progress no nothing.
Iraq will have to resolve theri issues by themselvs...a9lan they dont even want them there
US being there is just a waste of time and energy.

I don't think what we say matters. This is more driven by political and strategic issues. I'm not saying what we say should not matter, but I'd hope that they wouldn't get the matters more complicated and just go.

innocent people are dying everyday and the US claims its bettering Iraq? in what way exactly? cities are being bombed and people are dying. didnt they initially go in to capture 9addam? 9addams dead - what the hell are you still doing there? "setting up a democracy" or sucking up oil?
the US needs to stay the hell out of everyones business and stop trying to police the world. situations like these really make me effin hate americans.
Well my opinion is that they have done what they wanted and thats to get rid of Sadam. Now let the Iraqi people run their own country instead of the Americans. They have no right to stay and take over the country what so ever. Plus their are plenty of American bases in Kuwait, if anything went wrong there the Americans could be back in Iraq fixing things in less than a day... for now let em be or more American troops will die everyday which is a shame. A shame to force troops down there and get them killed.
Plus I believe if I'm correct their gonna be leaving anyways since most likely a democratic leader is taking over in the next election. Which means pulllllllling out from Iraq ^^.
