Why do people key cars?

Keying a car has to be one of the most spineless, cowardly, wretched act one human being can do to another. It never ceases to amaze me how someone can look at another person's car and say 'nice paint job, I need to ruin it' or 'cool new car! khal indhayig khulgha'. 90% of the time the person doesn’t even know the car’s owner, how pathetic is that?! It’s stunning how someone can disrespect someone else’s property in such a gutless manner. My Porsche was keyed a few weeks ago(it was only 1.5 weeks old SOB!) along the right rear quarter panel. If I ever caught the scum that did that, he'll be sorry.

PS. Porsche Cayenne owners Beware, there seems to be a "Cayenne S keyer" on the loose. I wasnt the only one this has happened to.

Why the Rush?

Salam All,

First of all, kil 3am winto ebkhair, it is once again this time of the year, the year in which we are to abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs during the daylight hours. As a time to purify the soul, refocus attention on God, and practice self-sacrifice. Now I know we all know this, but I dont see it. Heres a typical example of what I'm talking about:

2nd day of Ramadan:
I was at a gas station, note that a typical gas station has rows with 2 gas pumps per row correct? In my case the first pump was out of order, thus the cone placed in front of it. A certain someone behind me decided to be smart and overtook me to get to the front pump, once he got there and started reversing, the 9ubi told him thats its out of order, furious and impatient as he is, he took a turn and went right back where he started, which was behind me,i still had a person in front of me when he started honking!!! I mean jeez!!! Wheres your bloody patience?!! At the same time theres this Indian driver in the row next to me pumping gas(same thing the front gas pump is out of order) and this old kuwaiti man was honking at him and yelling at him to finish!! Hellooooo??!! Gas station etiquette?!!!
I dont get why everyone is in such a hurry, and thier behaviour goes from bad to worse, especially during Ramadan. Muslims are called upon this month to re-evaluate thier lives in light of Islamic guidance. We are to make peace with those who have wronged us, strengthen ties with family and friends, do away with bad habits---essentially to clean up our lives, our thoughts, and our feelings. The Arabic word for "fasting"(sawm) literally means "to refrain" and it means not only refraining from food or drink, but from evil actions, thoughts and words.
During Ramadan, every part of the body must be restrained. The tongue must be restrained from backbiting and gossip. The eyes must restrain themselves from looking at unlawful things. The hand must not touch or take anything that does not belong to it. The ears must refrain from listening to idle or obscene words. The feet must refrain from going to sinful places. In such a way, every part of the body observes the fast.
Therefore, fasting is not merely physical, but is rather the total commitment of the persons body and soul to the spirit of the fast. Ramadan is a time to practice self-restraint, a time to cleanse the body and soul from impurities and re-focus one's self on the worship of God.
Okay so now...having said that, its sad to say that I am not seeing it here in this country..shame..you would think living here in a country where wealth and extravagant lifestyles made us more grateful and thankful, has instead made us more arrogant, discourteous/incivil to others, and impertinent. Clean up your act people.

While walking home.....

Salam All,

Just a little incident a collegue of mine experienced on what was supposedly to be a normal day...hehe:

hola guys,

Just a lil' amusing story about an incident that happened to me yesterday.I bet you guys will find it very very hillarious (especially AB) but for me it was the most absolutely horrifying experience..to put it into context, this was like a million times worse than cassandra's awful outfit. So I was walking home from work and this old man came up to me and ask me if I speak english. Now this guy looked like a tourist and had this lost look on his face, so being a good samaritan I naturally offered my help. It turned out that he's not a tourist, but a just a local eurasian and the reason why he asked me if I speak english is because he too thought I was a foreigner. And then he started asking me if I'm japanese or eurasian and I just said no, just malaysian guy...I dun like talking about my family background to strangers, but he knows i'm mixed blood. So this guy is not from KL and he wanted to go to the train station, so I walked him towards the station...Now this is when things gets worse for me and the part where you all start laughing. I soon realised that this guy is acting and talking a bit funny. He was really curious to find out about my ethnic background, he's really convinced one of my parents must be british. Then when he found out that I'm not married he kept telling me that a good looking guy like me should be married by now and lotsa compliments about how I look. I felt really uneasy (u know i dun react well to compliments even from girls) and my worst fear came true when he started speaking about himself. As it turns out this guy is a 52yr old gay transvestite!! X;{ X;{ X;{. He acts all girly, I was petrified when this guy screamed as we cross the road, a carnearly ran us over (that's what cars do on the road in KL). When hesquealed like a little girl I thought he was gonna jump into my arms!! He said that it was really nice of me to help him out, since no one seems to want to help him in KL....hmmm I wonder why?? I'm really bad at identifying gays and transvestites...i think i'm just too innocent when it comes to judging strangers.I couldn't take it anymore and when we passed my apartment I made an excuse and said I'm meeting a friend there. I really didn't want him to know thatI live there. Thank god the security at my place is tight...the gates arec losed all the time with 4 security guards on duty all the time. When i got home I felt soo disgusted, had to take a really looooong shower to clean myself, he didn't touch me but still...i'm paranoid! So lesson learnt....i should really stop helping strangers, next time I think I have to pretend to be on the mobile phone everytime I walk home so people won't ask me for help. Either that or I change into a more 'bad boy- mess with me and I'll shoot your balls off' look. Think I look too innocent and friendly for my own good. Maybe I should get a female escort...that way I won't get hit by so many gays and girls.Well, at least one good thing I can get out of this is that if things dungo well with the girls now i know i have other options! :-D :-D I wonder ifI can submit this as an RIR....
